Our question is, is it worth it to carry a handbag now a days and see yourselves as a potential target for snatch thieves? Snatch thieves will not hesitate to injure or do grievous body harm just to take your handbag away. Some result in death.

Snatch theft happened at Jalan 2/30, 46000 Petaling Jaya yesterday afternoon around 2-3 pm. According to eye-witnesses, there are two men on motorcycle. Their modus operandi is to launch a sneak attack on unsuspecting women.
My aunt was a victim, an accomplice rides past from behind while the other person would get off and use a metal pipe to hit my aunt's head repeatedly from behind. My aunt let go of her bag, but it was snagged at her wrist. They kept bashing at her arm and wrists to get her bag.
Thankfully, my aunt is doing fine now, no internal head injury. Mostly bruises and stitches.
